The Entrepreneurship Self Test is designed to help you measure and understand your entrepreneurial potential. It’s always helpful to know how well suited you are for a particular endeavor before you start. This is especially true of starting a business because you’ll be investing a great deal of time, and at least some money, in your business.
This test measures the following areas:
- Motivation
- Business Skills
- Networking Skills
- Level of Support
Get out a blank sheet of paper and number it from 1 to 32. Then evaluate yourself on each statement on the test and enter your answer to each statement next to the corresponding number.
It’s important to be honest with yourself. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t score well. Keep in mind that the entrepreneurship test is designed to help you identify areas of weakness so you can work to improve in those areas. This will increase your likelihood of success.

What Now?
If you didn’t score well, don’t be discouraged. Remember, this is a self evaluation, not an entrance exam. If your entrepreneurship potential is low, you can and should work to improve it. Look over the statements and your answers again and identify those areas you need to work on. Then take steps to strengthen those areas.
As you work on improving in areas of weakness, don’t neglect the areas you did well in. You should still work on your strengths in order to keep them strong.
